Kortnee is such a sweet girl! She is growing up so fast it makes me sad to think she is already 11! If i want something done I ask Kort because I know she will do it for me. She is growing up to be a beautiful young women. I am so lucky to have these kids. For her birthday she wants to go boating, so we are going all weekend and taking her friend Abbi with us. kort has been wake boarding and knee boarding and is doing so well. THE SOUTH JORDAN FAIR!

So we went to the South Jordan fair this weekend...and the kids all wanted to do the mutin bustin stuff, which I have no idea when we got to be so country! So we signed them up..Kolton did the mutin bustin which is ridding the sheep to see who can hold on the longest. Kamrin did the stick pony rides, racing the other kids, and Kortnee and Kolton did the money calf, which is they tape ribbons to the calf and the kids chase it to get the ribbons, to trade in for money. Well guess who won? Kolton won the mutin bustin (sheep ride) he was so cute he knew he could do it, I was so scared we would be at the er, but he was awesome of course, he is so competitive!!! Kolton held on so long we knew he would win! There were only three champs out of like 60 plus kids! He got a trophy, and bragging rights!!Kolton caught the calf and won $1! Kamrin won the stick pony race, and won a silver dollar and the stick pony! Kort tried to get that calf but just couldn't catch him then pretty much as soon as all the kids started running she decided that it was not as great as she thought!! We are still so proud of her for trying! Kort did win a goldfish at the fair games!! (that has already died we are not good with pets) They had so much fun! Kayla was not with us she went to Logan for the week to hang out with grandma, each summer she takes each kid a week at a time for one on one time...so we missed you kayla!!

Kayla went to Oakcrest camp!!

Kayla got to go to Oakcrest camp for the week. Kayla and her friend Haylie were the only two girls from the ward who went. Well the whole week it rained and rained, so they had some adventures. Haylie got a tick and they swore the lightining and thunder would hit them...so I get a call after about 3 days, they say they want to come home that no one is talking to them, and they cry themselves to sleep every night. That it is "like prison" so they only had 2 more days until they came home. I told her to stick it out, but Haylie had not called her mom yet. So the nigh the night before they were suppost to come home Haylie's mom goes up there to get haylie, her mom called me to see if I wanted Kayla to come with her, so Kayla calls me back I ask her what do you want to do, she says my stuff is already in the car! So Kayla chickened out!!! with 1 night to go!!! even when the bishop was so proud of them for being the only girls who went up, that he took them a gift. He had called me that week while they were at camp and asked what does Kayla like? You know like bunnies, butterflies, ponies, or ladybugs? At that point I had no idea what he was up to. So after a long conversation I finally got what he wanted and said oh ...dancing! He had told me his wife Sparky was at the fabric store (which had me worried) I thought they would make a dress or something she would have to wear on Sunday! but it ended up being a very cute pillow case with her name on it! I am glad she went. I am sure she learned something in the 4 days she was there!! I am glad she got home safe, We love her so much and are so proud of her and how she is always making the right choices!! we love you bubba!!
